 1) begin v. (began) 开始  常用的句型: begin to dobegin doing

一般来说,begin to dobegin doing可以互换,但在以下三种情况下,用to do

I. 主语不是指人,而是it等。 如:It began to rain.

II. begin后接表示心理活动的词。如:begin to know还有believe, wonder, think等词。

III. begin本身是ing形式,为避免重复后接to do 即:beginning to do

 

2. I was so busy looking for the umbrella that I didn’t see a car coming.

1)      busy 忙的 常用用法: be busy doing sth be busy with sth

eg: 我昨天这个时候正忙着写作业。

3.过去进行时

(1)           I was at home doing my homework at the time of the rainstorm.

(2)           I was waiting like that for maybe almost one hour.

 定义:过去进行时主要表示在_______________进行的动作

构成:_________________________________________常与at that time, this time yeste-rday , just then, at nine yesterday, 等表示明确有具体的时间状语。

eg:(1I was doing my homework at this time yesterday.

2I was eating dinner when the phone rang.

具体的句型为: 肯定句:主语+___________+其他。

egThey were having a meeting that time.

否定句:主语+__________+其他。

egThey weren’t having a meeting that time.

一般疑问句____________+主语+__________+其他?

肯定回答:Yes,主语+was/were.否定回答:No,主语+wasn't/weren't.

   此句中的连词while的意思是“当……的时候,引导时间状语从句。它强调主句
